The CMA CGM Group announces several changes to its Executive Committee, effective July 1, 2026, to support its continued growth and accelerate its major transformation initiatives.
Patrick Moebel appointed Chief Executive Officer of CEVA Logistics
With more than 30 years of leadership experience across the transportation and global supply chain sectors, Patrick Moebel most recently served as President of FedEx Logistics.
His appointment comes at a pivotal moment for CEVA Logistics. Following the successful integration of Bolloré Logistics and the company’s rise among the world’s leading logistics providers, CEVA Logistics is entering a new chapter in its development. This next phase will focus on expanding its capabilities in the North American market, strengthening its end-to-end logistics solutions offering, and accelerating sustainable growth for the benefit of its customers.
Drawing on his international leadership experience and deep market expertise, Patrick Moebel will lead this new phase of integration and expansion. He will work closely with CEVA Logistics’ existing leadership team while further strengthening the strategic and operational synergies between the CMA CGM Group’s logistics, shipping and air freight businesses.
Mathieu Friedberg appointed Executive Vice President, Transformation, CMA CGM Group
After six years as Chief Executive Officer of CEVA Logistics, during which he led the company’s transformation, managed the integration of several strategic acquisitions and supported its rise to become the world’s fourth-largest logistics provider, Mathieu Friedberg will now oversee artificial intelligence, IT, cybersecurity, ZEBOX and CMA Conseil.
These appointments reflect the CMA CGM Group’s commitment to pursuing its global growth while accelerating its technological transformation to deliver increasingly innovative, integrated and high-performing solutions to its customers.
